I’m sharing the draft of something I wrote some time ago that came out of my exploration and practice of Yoga Nidra, which means the yoga of sleep, or unity. Essentially, Yoga Nidra is a guided practice that takes you beyond waking, dreaming, or sleep to a state of deep rest and into the superconscious otherwise known in some Hindu traditions as turiya or the fourth state.
I started the practice in 2019 and found it miraculous. It opened the door to the experience - not the concept - of nonduality. It helped me go beyond this or that, one or the other.
